Membership

NET Members are a select group of professionals who share NET’s vision and exemplify NET’s mission with their careers. The membership list is private but NET Members can choose to make their affiliation known.

Benefits

• Individual engagement (e.g., one-on-one advising, personal introductions)

• Curated events (e.g., guest presentations, literature discussions, social gatherings)

• Written resources (e.g., customized documents, targeted vacancy-sharing, small grants)

Expectations

• Be available to take up to one introductory call per month with a new member, based on a personalized pairing

• Regularly participate in the network (by, e.g., organizing or attending events, sharing relevant job opportunities, or providing peer advice)

• Contribute to positive engagement with the community

• Refresh membership annually

Members receive these benefits at no cost thanks to the generous donor support.

Eligibility

Members range from recent college graduates to seasoned professionals, with a variety backgrounds and areas of concern.

Members are:

• Committed to addressing one or more extreme risks

• Thoughtful and proactive about finding solutions to these threats

• Eager to engage with other NET members

• Pursuing a career or project in the U.S. policy field

• Located in the Washington, D.C. area
