NET Membership

NET Members are a select group of professionals who share NET’s vision and exemplify this in their careers.

Benefits

• Individual engagement (e.g., one-on-one advising, personal introductions)

• Curated events (e.g., guest presentations, literature discussions, social gatherings)

• Paid office/coworking space availability for members

Expectations

• Be available to take up to one introductory call per month with a new member, based on a personalized pairing

• Regularly participate in the network (by, e.g., organizing or attending events, sharing relevant job opportunities, or providing peer advice)

• Contribute to positive engagement with the community

• Refresh membership annually

Members receive most membership benefits at no cost, thanks to generous donor support. The NET coworking space includes free guest passes to check out the office, and paid options for regular coworking.

Eligibility

Members range from recent college graduates to seasoned professionals, with a variety backgrounds and areas of concern.

Members are:

• Committed to addressing one or more extreme risks

• Thoughtful and proactive about finding solutions to these threats

• Eager to engage with other NET members

• Located in and around the Washington, D.C. area

• Pursuing a career or project in U.S. policy
